How To Get Dye Out Of A Woolen Rug
How To Get Dye Out Of A Woolen Rug:
Question from A Customer…
How do I get dye from a pair of jeans out of my woolen rug?
I had a woollen machine made rug (beige/cream) cleaned by your company in August this year (Job Number 11328).
That is not the problem though. Two days ago some blue dye from a pair of dry jeans has been transferred onto the rug (ie. someone sat down on the rug in a pair of new unwashed jeans). It is not horrendous but is noticeable, affecting around 1/2 sq. m.
Is there anything you can advise to remove blue markings?
If not, is it possible to only treat this certain area of the rug?
Or would it need a complete clean again (keeping in mind that it was cleaned only 3 months ago)?
Regards,
Mr Hollands of Manchester
