1. Introduction

Welcome to Rug Cleaning Experts (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.rugcleaningexperts.co.uk and our professional rug cleaning and associated services. By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these Terms in full.

2. Services

Rug Cleaning Experts provides professional rug cleaning, repair, and stain protection services throughout the North West and surrounding areas. All work is carried out by trained technicians using industry-approved methods and equipment.

Our standard turnaround time for off-site rug cleaning is approximately 14 days. This may vary depending on rug type, condition, and service requirements. Any estimated collection or return dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

3. Booking & Payment

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise.
  • Full payment is required upon completion or delivery unless credit terms are agreed in writing.
  • We accept payment via bank transfer, debit/credit card, or approved online payment platforms.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about your rug(s) including size, fibre type, and any existing damage or stains.
  • Ensure clear access for collection and delivery.
  • Remove personal items from rugs before collection.

5. Risk & Liability

While every care is taken, some rugs may carry inherent risks due to age, fibre type, dye instability, or previous cleaning attempts. We will always carry out a pre-inspection and advise of any limitations before work commences.

We cannot be held liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage, wear, or colour fading.
  • Shrinkage, pile distortion, or colour migration where correct cleaning procedures have been followed.
  • Loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., flooding, fire, or courier delays).

6. Storage

Completed rugs should be collected or delivered within 30 days of notification. Rugs remaining beyond this period may incur storage charges.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • You may cancel a booking with at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled collection.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a call-out fee to cover logistics costs.
  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method.

8. Communication & Message Frequency

By contacting us, requesting a quote, or booking a service, you consent to receive communications relating to your booking via:

  • Email
  • SMS
  • WhatsApp or phone call

We only send messages as necessary to confirm bookings, provide updates, or follow up on services. Marketing messages are sent only if you have opted in and you may unsubscribe at any time. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

SMS Messaging Terms of Service (Go High Level)

As part of our customer communication system, Rug Cleaning Experts (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses the Go High Level messaging platform to send service-related SMS/text notifications to customers who opt in.

Program Description

By opting in to our SMS service, you agree to receive text messages related to:

  • Rug collection & delivery updates
  • Booking confirmations
  • Quote information
  • Appointment reminders
  • Service updates
  • Customer service communication
  • Occasional promotional offers relevant to rug cleaning and care

Message frequency varies depending on your service journey.

Opting Out (STOP Command)

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the number you received messages from.

Once you send “STOP”:
• We will send a final message confirming your opt-out.
• After this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.

To rejoin later, simply opt in again through any of our forms, booking pages, or by requesting it directly.

Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply for both messages sent to you from us and messages you send to us. For questions about your text or data plan, please contact your mobile network provider.

Carrier Liability

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed, undelivered, or incomplete messages.
